Last weekend I had the chance to meet up with Sarah from Craft Critique. (If you haven’t heard of the site, they give unbiased reviews of craft products, both large and small. Be sure to check it out, especially if you’re in the market for some new crafty products!) We went to the American Craft Exposition which was mere steps from my house. I would call it more of an art show, than a craft show but I saw some amazing pieces I thought I’d share!
These amazing mittens were made by Beth Ann and Steve Schunk. (They don’t have a website but if you need their email address let me know!) Each of these mitten sets are made from old sweaters, hand stitched together, and lined with angora. They were amazing!
Close up of one of the mitten sets. Don’t you just love the little button details?
Letterpress Bracelets
Knitted Scarves by Jeung-Hwa Park-Don’t you love how she lined them up by color? Gorgeous!
Fabric Collages from Laura Breitman. Yes- I said Fabric. These are all tiny fabric pieces. Amazing! They look just like photographs!
Wow, just realized that most of the vendors I wanted to share don’t have a website… I have contact info if you’re interested, just let me know. I wonder why they wouldn’t have a website…
What did you think about this post? It’s a little different from my normal posts…do you want to see more of my favorite things? Projects from me? Let me know!
P.S. We’re going to have a party here soon! My new stamp releases are coming to me as I type this! I can’t wait to share them with you! They are way fun and super versatile! See you soon!
