Placecards for Thanksgiving!
Remember the place mat I shared with you a little while ago? I made some little place cards to go with it! I'll show you how and share with you the PDF so that you can make your own customized ones! What you'll need: A few sheets of patterned paper (Trimmed to 7 3/4" x 3 1/2") Orange Cardstock (Trimmed to 2 3/4" x 1 3/4") Light Ivory Cardstock (You'll print on this so make sure it's trimmed down to 8 1/2" x 11" to fit into your printer!) Ok, so I've got a easy project for your Thanksgiving Tables today for you! I've made a little embroidered place mat tutorial and pattern for you! You know I love to keep my projects super simple so here's what you need: -1 Placemat (or as many as you need for all your guests) I found my place-mat at Target for $2.99. Table-scape Class!
Where in the world has October gone? I'm really not sure, but I've been busy creating some new projects to share! I'll also be teaching a few classes right here in the Chicago area! This is next week's class that I'll be teaching at Craft Fancy. We'll be doing a complete table-scape, just in time for Thanksgiving! We'll be completing a custom placemat, place cards (or dish labels, whichever you prefer) as well as napkin rings and votive holders. So a little while ago when I made those cute little royal icing flowers for a baby shower I had some spare icing! I decided to make some googly eyes and save them for this month: I was hoping to surprise my husband with them by placing them on an unsuspecting dinner one night....but he beat me to it! Release Event Recap
Last weekend I spent some time at Craft Fancy in the Chicago area! They are the newest retailer to carry my stamps in their store and I had an awesome time meeting some of you and seeing what their design team made! This is the Make & Take that Marnie taught everyone how to make! Isn't it great? I love the combo of sky blue and happy orange! They used the Boughs stamp set, the sentiment from the Furnishing Fun set and the new Zing embossing powder from American Crafts. The embossing powder is awesome!
