I was holding off on sharing this finished quilt until my friend got it in the mail… Then I got caught up in posting lots of other fun projects I’d finished and just remembered that I have never shared this one!
This one went together fairly quickly and I love how it turned out. Only thing I’d do differently is to make sure the points of the outside chevrons don’t get cut off. I didn’t realize until I was just about done, and it was too late to add on some extra on the edges. I blame my lack of a nice diagram for this one! (I much prefer to work from a scaled diagram as I’m working on quilt designs.) For this one I just went with it… Oh well. My friend loved it either way!!
Happy Sewing!

So cute! What pattern did you use?
Erin says
Thanks Susan! I used the basics from this post: http://beesquarefabrics.blogspot.com/2009/03/how-to-make-zig-zag-quilt-without.html but made the strips/squares smaller to it’d be more in scale for a baby quilt. Then made it so the chevron was vertical instead of horizontal.
