Christmas is a hard time to be a crafter! I wanted for weeks to show you some of the projects I was working on, but had to wait until the recipient of the gifts got them. Don’t want to ruin a surprise! (Add in both my husband and I having birthdays, New Year’s Eve, a short road trip to Dallas, and other activities and it makes for a super busy season! I’m sure you can relate, though!)
I don’t necessarily have tutorials planned for any of these, but if there’s enough interest I could probably put something together, just let me know!
I used a Patty Young container file from the Silhouette store to make these little boxes. They were the perfect size for holding some homemade toffee for neighbors!
A friend, Sarah, graciously let me come over, use some of her glass, and helped me fire up this gorgeous pink/clear/white/purple decorative plate for my mom. I LOVE how it turned out, and my mom did too!
Took a break from all the Christmas festivities to celebrate my husband’s birthday on the 23rd. I used the Becky Higgins Project Life Seafoam digital Kit to make this banner. Using the Print and Cut feature with my Silhouette made it super easy!
Made a simple lined tote bag for my sister. Then add in the Deathly Hallows symbol (Harry Potter!) using heat transfer vinyl and you’ve got a bag that’s super customized!
Checked off another one of my goals on my 30 before 30 list, just days before my 30th birthday and made some Jalapeno Pepper Jelly for family. I’ve made freezer jams before, this is the first time I’ve used my water-bath canner and they turned out great! I topped them off with some customized labels I designed and cut out with my Silhouette. (I used the printable vinyl this time!)
Made a Silhouette Cameo cover for a friend. (It’s not hemmed yet in this picture, but it’s the latest picture I had!) I do have the pattern piece for this so if anyone is interested, let me know and I can probably do a simple tutorial!

Silhouette Cameo cover ? I like the look but I am unsure what it is? Thanks for all the inspiration. Now that I also have time I will be diving into some of these projects. The banner is great for another project that I wasn’t sure how to get the lettering how I wanted it, it involves a small antique suitcase and storage of Birthday and Christmas cards.

Hello Lynn. The Silhouette Cameo is a electronic die cut machine. (http://silhouetteamerica.com/) Other than my sewing machine, it gets the most use in my studio!

Love all the silhouette ideas. I just got mine for Christmas and had no idea it would do all that.

Love love everything….you are so talented…I need to hook my brain up to your brain! I would love a tutorial for the Cameo Silhouette! Mine is still in the box!!! I have to get my house put back together after being so sick at Christmas and getting everything done and now put away and redecorated. I love your website! Thanks for sharing your talents Erin!
